PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We exist to see people BELONG in community, BELIEVE in Jesus, BECOME followers, and BUILD God’s Kingdom.
Belong
Jesus invited anyone and everyone to His table. Nobody was excluded, no matter what. In Jesus’ time, the table was a place of relationship. To share a meal with someone was to say “ I am willing to be known by you, and to know you.” The invitation was an opportunity for change and transformation through relationship with Him.
We want to create a wide-open door for anyone to come in and encounter both the presence of God, and the love of those within this community. You can come, engage, and take time to immerse yourself in God’s presence, sound biblical teaching, and authentic community without obligation, or qualification.
Believe
Believing in Jesus means placing our hope and trust in Him by surrendering to His lordship in every area of our lives. By consistently encountering Jesus, we realize that there is something special about Him, something different. That causes trust to develop, to the point where His reality becomes ours, and His teaching becomes our truth.
Believing in Jesus changes everything forever!
Become
Becoming a follower is the life-long process of learning to fully love and trust Jesus. This includes his teaching, commands, and example. We don’t “arrive” somewhere; we are on a lifelong journey with Jesus.
The Journey isn’t a place, it’s a path. Something we travel on, celebrate on, grieve on, but continue to walk on.
Following Jesus is about opening yourself up to being led by Jesus through valleys, mountain top moments, and everything in between. But, when you are with Jesus, you have the promise that He will not leave you alone. He will be with you.
Build
Building God’s kingdom is less about writing our own story, and more about participating in the story that’s already written. It’s the daily choice to prefer God’s purpose and plan, over ours.
The story God has written for your life always includes the overflow of your personal relationship with Him, becoming a blessing and inspiration to others. The same way a teddy bear can’t help but be cute, is the same way a person transformed by personal relationship with Jesus can’t help but change the world around them.
